Intesi Group was founded in 1998 by a group of experienced professionals in the ICT sector, with the aim of using the deep technical expertise to create products and services with high technological content and innovation.
Through personal experiences and the work of its founders set in previous years, the company has acquired the ability to address and resolve complex problems within the logical data security technologies, automation, integration and management application systems. These skills have been growing and specialized over the years.
Today Intesi Group is a recognized leader in Italy in the following topics: Digital Signature, processing the amount of security for electronic payments and card management, integration.

2009

Birth of Activ1st Online a dedicated portal to the Activ1st community .
PkBox grows and incorporates the functionality of Remote Signature with the ability to centrally manage even millions of certificates on HSM cards.
New interfaces and new algorithms have been added to PkBox EMV to make it more attractive and competitive. So it can support the most widespread and used API by Italians services centres.

2008

Intesi Group presents Firma Facile, a simple and immediate application which is able to offer to its users the functionality of digital signature in a totally integrated way with Windows operating system.
Activ1st face changes and gains a completely new layout. Now, its new Web GUI allows you to compose and manage the orchestration of a service even more simple.

2007

Intesi Group realizes the software module XML-XADES. Fedict has adopted as the standard library on behalf of the Belgian Government.
Extension of platform to manage PkSuite authentication via OTP devices (One Time Password).
Based on Metaspace engine, Intesi Group realizes Activ1st, the first integration system with service oriented architecture. Activ1st is able to manage processes and procedures without programming.

2006

PkBox JCE is released. Maximum scalability for Mission Critical applications.
In order To offer a solution to the problems concerning with the management of significant amounts of data, PkBox provides a particular configuration where the server module can be installed on a system different from that housing the cryptographic device. Introduced the extension to the PDF support.
Added support for digital signatures on Linux and Apple.
PkBox EMV is released. It’s the server system of encryption and management of amount of security. PkBox EMV is the ideal support for electronic payment applications and cards initialization / customization.

2005

Together with Oberthur Italy, Intesi Group presents its prototype for the Digital Signature. This product is based on telephone SIM and it’s able to operate on standard GSM phones without installing any hardware device on your PC.
Thanks to this product Intesi Group receives IST-Prize nomination as one of European most innovative projects of the year.
Intesi Group joins the research consortium for AdapID project that deals with the definition of new standards and requirements for Electronic Identity Cards of the new generation.

2004

Birth of PkNet and PkBox, Intesi Group products for the Digital Signature.
PkNet is the development Toolkit offered by Intesi Group to allow Software House to include the logical security features into their client applications.
PkBox is the most powerful and flexible security server on market.

2002

Intesi Belgium research laboratory Is established. In collaboration with the Belgian Ministry of Research and Technology, Intesi Belgium starts the implementation of the first version for the products of Digital Signature, which are part of the PkSuite line.
Intesi Group conducts the first projects of integration and automation creating connectors that can handle the communication between SAP and other Mission Critical applications.

2001

Intesi Group realizes Metaspace, an innovative system which is distributed to mobile agents. Exploitong its architecture Peer To Peer (P2P) Metaspace allows to easily build applications and integration solutions to extremely low costs.

2000

Intesi Group consolidates its presence in the security sector realizing on behalf of its partners, innovative and effective solutions to manage the logical security of data. Intesi Group staff takes care of interfacing OTP (One Time Password) devices, executing firmware to be set on card cryptographic HSM, and building tools in order to manage electronic payment.

1998

Intesi Group begins to operate as an autonomous entity and cooperates in the development of the first support systems to Digital Signature operations in accordance with Identrus specifications (an important circuit of AC bank hierarchically organized, that allows for valid signatures in international arenas and multiple contexts CA).
Intesi Group produces the first DSMS server developed with Java technologies on open source platforms.

before 1998

Encryption and management of authoritative processes in the interbank payment systems.
Among the important experiences we can include the development and customization of the Smartcard and the payment systems based on Electronic Purse (MiniPay). Always within the electronic payment systems, the Intesi Group staff carries out the first server for processing amount of security (encryption, decryption, calculating the check digit, ...) PC card with cryptographic HSM and customized firmware to support the Standard Italian (ESPC).
By participating in a key experiment for the diffusion of digital signature, Intesi Group experts realize the first security server HSM. This server is based on personal computers featuring auto-discovery capabilities, load balancing and fault tolerance.
The product (Authentication Server) operates on an IP network and it can publish a complete PKCS # 11 interface remote-over Internet protocol.
