Intesi Group joins the Good Health Pass Collaborative
Bringing expertise in electronic signatures and electronic identities to the global effort for globally interoperable digital health passes.
Milano, 8 April 2021 – Intesi Group is proud to announce that it has joined the Good Health Pass Collaborative, an open, inclusive, cross-sector initiative – launched in February 2021 by ID2020 – to create a blueprint for globally interoperable digital health passes.
While the curve of the COVID-19 virus is flattening in many regions, we are all looking for solutions that will allow us to create a new post-pandemic reality, plan for an incremental return to public life, participate in the economy, and work and freely travel again.
Digital health passes – if properly designed and implemented – could offer a path back to some semblance of our pre-pandemic lives, but will require active collaboration between governments, the private sector, and civil society.
With more than 20 years of expertise in technology and regulatory requirements for electronic signatures and electronic identities, Intesi Group is participating in the working groups that have been established to collectively address specific interoperability challenges as part of the Good Health Pass Interoperability Blueprint, which will be published in June.

Over the past year, numerous commercial and governmental efforts have come together to develop digital health credentials systems – both for proof of vaccination and test results. The Good Health Pass Collaborative was established to help weave these efforts together, fill gaps where they exist, enable collaboration among a new ecosystem of stakeholders, and ensure that digital health pass systems are designed to work together.

The Collaborative was born out of a recognition it was unlikely that one solution would be implemented globally – or even across the entire travel industry. Since February, the initiative has brought together more than 100 companies and organizations – many of them competitors – to jointly establish guiding principles and open standards that will ensure that the systems that are adopted are privacy-protecting, user-controlled, equitable, interoperable, and universal accepted for international travel.
